Lame-o Answers

Yeah, I need to write. I’ve been busy, so it’s hard to keep up sometimes. I’ve been reading/lurking all of you all, so I’m sorry that I’m not contributing.

Ask me questions, whatever you want.  Get me back on the wagon again.  Answers to come next week, provided I actually get questions.

So here are answers to some of your questions.  Feel free to ask more, especially if you don’t know that much about me. I have some new readers/people I read, so feel free to fire away.

Have I seen any good movies?  Most of the movies I’ve seen lately are just okay.  I really enjoyed District 9 because the way it’s presented, it looks plausible and like it could really happen.  I liked Hangover in much the same fashion, plus it just has those very offbeat one-liners tossed in there that catch you off guard and make you laugh.  I liked Avatar for the visual effects, but I felt the story was fairly lacking and predictable.

How often do I see/talk to my brother?  I talk to him about once a month at least.  I just saw him this weekend as he was down for Easter.  He’s about to finish up his residency in Memphis, so he’s looking for another job, maybe a little closer to home.

How are things with Tina?  They’re going alright.  We’ve been bickering a lot lately, but we usually make up for it right away.  There’s a lot to write there, much more than I want to write tonight, so I’ll have to postpone that until later.

Did I ever find my ring? No, I didn’t find it.  I looked and another guy looked, and since it’s been a few weeks, I resigned myself that I would never find it, so I got a new one tonight just to have it.  I didn’t have a lot of money to spend, and since Tina and I are talking about doing a vow renewal next year for our 10th, I figured I’d just get a cheap one so that I could have one at least.  A lot of my friends are really struggling in their marriages and for some reason, I really felt the need to get one.  I needed that security, I guess.  So I got a nice looking $50 titanium ring at Wal-Mart.  That way, if I get a nicer ring later, I can wear this one when I know I’m going to be getting dirty or if I have a good chance of losing it.
