crash + exam
I crashed my bicycle. I was coming down the hill from the hospital way too fast and crashed into a car that was stopped at the bottom of it. It smashed all the lights on the car and mangled the front of my bike. I didn’t really get hurt too bad, a couple of cuts on my hand, a small bruise on my knee and a painful shoulder. There was a big crowd of people gathered – i think it looked very dramatic. The car driver took my address and phone number so i expect i’ll get the bill soon.
Did I do it on purpose? Was I disappointed I wasn’t hurt much worse. Well, yes.
I decided the bruise on my knee wasn’t good enough so spent the rest of the day slamming it against my wardrobe. And the cuts on my hand were tiny so I decided to add a few more.
My shoulder was truely stiff and painful though, so I left that be.
I had my written obs and gynae exam today. It didn’t go too well, I keep looking up the answers and finding I’ve got them wrong, so we’ll just have to see what happens with it. I have the practical exam on Friday so must keep working. I have the opportunity to go to the hospital tomorrow and practice with the mannequins which will form part of the exam. I doubt i’ll go.
I decided to cancel any further appointments with the counsellor. I don’t feel it would benefit me.
ouch 🙁

oh sweetheart… *hugs* Please go back to the counsellor. You deserve so much more than this… xox

I really do think you should keep seeing the counsellor. It’s going to benefit you more than running into people’s cars then literally beating yourself up afterwards.

Sorry not to say anything different to everyone else but it’s going to help more to go and talk with the counsellor than dropping it. Hope you’re ok

Good luck with the exam, I’m sure you didn’t do as bad on the written as you think you did! Hopefully it all goes well though =)

Sweetie I agree with the above noter about counselling. I went through two years, best thing I could have done.

P.S. Why is the water brown?

checking out answers once you’ve left the exam is the killer. and then you start to realise you might just have got every single answer incorrect.

Hugs. I know what you mean about wishing it was worse. But I don’t think you should stop seeing the counsillor. I know it may not seem like the best idea now but you can just use the time to sit in silence if that’s what you want. xxxx
