surgery

I had lap band surgery on Tuesday. I really thought the recovery would be easier! It is actually really painful but like so many people try to remind me.. it will be worth it in the end. They did a barium swallow test to see how liquids were going down and my band so tight that it was just sort of trickling through it. I’m scared to drink anything because it just gurgles and gets stuck. yuck. it will get better as the swelling goes down.
