“Where are your shoes?”

Last night was really fun. After I got back from my classes at around 3:30, after a long talk with Kaitlin, I hung out with Eric and Ben and Em for a little bit. Then I called Mitch (because Aaron called my cell phone) and I went to his room to wait for his mom to pick us up. Mike’s friend Matt (I think?) is here for the weekend, so we all hung out for a little bit, then at 4:30, Mitch, his mom, and I went to Margo’s swim meet. She PR’d in one of her events (50 Free, I believe…), but she had a scary asthma hacking thing, which really freaked the three of us out (not to mention HER, but that’s a given). She’s used to it, though, so…but it was still rather freaky. We went shopping for her homecoming dress (!) at Marshall Field’s. She got the prettiest dress, and I don’t think anyone else will really wear it. It was fun to look at dresses, and I tried some on myself. 🙂 After that, we came back to Sellery and picked up Aaron (!) and went to The Nitty Gritty. The food was GREAT (Babcock aged cheddar cheese, Diet Coke, fries, and cheese curds) and the conversation was hysterical. I alternated between talking to Mitch/Aaron and Margo. They played a lot of good music. They played “Brown-Eyed Girl” atone point and Mitch and I got up to dance. Then Aaron and Mitch’s mom got up to dance, too, and Aaron danced like a total spaz. Mitch and I pulled Margo up to dance with us and then some drunk guys from the other side of the restaurant came over and “danced.” It was great. 🙂 After that, all of us went back to my room and we hung out for a fairly long time. We looked at pictures and comics and all sorts of things. It was really fun. Margo’s really cool. I’d like to think of her as my surrogate little sister. That’d be nice. 🙂 After that, Eric, Mitch and I took forever to decide we were just going to go to Eric’s room and watch TV. It was a rather amusing way to end the evening.

And it was one hell of an evening at that. 🙂
