Perflarghity
And even when I sit down for a moment to breathe, I’m reminded that there is something I should be doing, fixing, cleaning, studying, learning, creating.
Today was ridiculous – everyone was crabby in my Genetics discussion (especially Mel and me, since the stupid professor made a typo on the problem set and therefore the BIGGEST PROBLEM ON THE ENTIRE THING HAD TO BE REDONE…a problem that had taken us an hour and a half to do…I cannot even begin to tell you how pissed off we were) and when Mel tried to clarify a question, our TA Meg didn’t understand and thought Mel was personally attacking her (which she wasn’t) and it just turned into a big mess. We got out early since Meg got so frustrated.
Lunch was an unsatisfying bag of pretzels combined with a pissy 45 minutes of reworking the Genetics problem.
In History, Prof. McCoy sped-lectured, as usual, and my brain was spinning at the end of class. However, I did manage to take better notes than I have during the fast few weeks, which was good because this was the class period where he asked if anyone wanted to do notetaking for McBurney. Ooh, me! That’s easy money – $30 per credit hour (4, in this case!) for doing what I’d already be doing (plus stopping at the center and making free copies).
I called Robert at work and finally found out next week’s schedule – I have no idea why Eric didn’t e-mail it out to us, but at least I know when I work. Meh. After some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream from the Union, I dropped all my crap off here and tried to get some studying done, but I was too flustered and hot and tired to really accomplish anything. Before I knew it, it was 5:30 and time to run down to the Red Gym for the WWSA wrap-up meeting. It was great to see everyone again, eat free Pokey Stix and CinaStix, and get the info for applying to be a board member. I was also encouraged to apply for Homecoming Court, but we’ll see how that goes. As awesome as it would be, I’m busy enough as it is.
7 PM and I was back here – from then until 10 I studied for Zoo. That’s it. It’s a freakin’ QUIZ in a LAB and I studied for 3 hours. Insane. But I guess that’s not 100% true – in those three hours, I also read the material for the lab we’re doing tomorrow and did the exercises assigned. But most of it was studying for the quiz. Then I made brownie muffins (they turned out great!), did dishes and cleaned and straightened up.
Now I’m sitting down to get my mental life in order before I get to talk to Mark and then go to sleep.
I’m going nuts.
I’m moving to Texas.
NOOOO!! Don’t ever move away! :o*

At least you’re studying and preparing for the next day. If someone could convince my daughter of that it would be wonderful! HAHA- You sound better that’s a good thing. Maybe you need to be in school all the time? OR maybe just not living back at home make you better? ANyway, I’m glad to see you better.
