Pennsylvania keystone

I just finished reading The Lovely Bones, an incredible piece of fiction by Alice Sebold.  It is something that I would tell any woman, any person to read, but –

I am left feeling completely empty.  It was a passionate, heart-wrenching book – I cried, small, silent sobs, as I read- but I have no emotion now that I have closed the light blue covers edged with a dark blue spine. 

I am just sitting, waiting, breathing, living.

But so dead on the inside.
