I’m going to write about the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

It is, obviously, in Madison. Madison is a big city and, accordingly, UW is a big campus. It’s spread out in every direction – your classes can be by the lake but you might live in a Southeast dorm. It all depends. 60,000 people use this campus every day. So many of them, you will never meet. But you form your own small campus within the big university. You find your niche, not only with people, but with classes, clubs, and the city itself. State Street is just a quick walk away, as well as Lake Mendota, the Capitol, and lots of fun places. The Union rocks, especially the Terrace. There is ALWAYS something to do, ALWAYS something free being given away, and ALWAYS someone to talk to. The people are nice – I’ve yet to meet someone I don’t like. Some of them appear snobby, but they’re not. You just have to talk to them. The dorms are really nice and the rules are lax. Classes are offered in any major you can think of and they range in size from 12 to 500.

It’s a great school. It really is. 🙂
