I’m 19 and 1/2 today

And the sudden calm falls again, but it is a whirlwind of laughing over mashed potatoes and blue sunglasses and Hanson.

We are sitting at the top of the world right now and I am just waiting for the definitive answer – one that will either take it up to Cloud 9 or to somewhere just slightly below that, Cloud 8 and 1/2, perhaps. I try to be careful to stay grounded, but my dreamy moments have increased and I can only smile and let them float around me. It would be such torture not to!

But as I wait for this, that is torture too.
