HOT!
It’s fucking hot in Madtown today. Not just hot, FUCKING hot. All of my classes were dismissed early because the amount of body heat the 400+ people in each room were generating was obscene.
It was a weird day of classes – I ran into Justin, Alexis, Paul, and Schmoldt. And I found out Neal is in my Zoo lecture. Talk about bizarre.
The professor had great line in Zoo today. She was talking about how a female firefly of one type has a certain mating light pattern, as does a male. If the female sees a male firefly flashing a pattern that isn’t like hers, she’ll imitate it to attract him and then eat him! The professor said, “And you thought the bar scene was tough!”
That was cool. 🙂
I keep thinking I see people I know. Today it was Jen. There’s a tall, slim blonde girl in my Journalism lecture who looks JUST like her. My brain is so dumb, though, because every time I see her, I forget that it isn’t her.
Blah. Enough of my blabbering. I’ve got a Spanish worksheet to finish, some African tales to read, my Journalism book to read, a few (read: 3!) Zoo pages to read, and choir at 7:30. I have to get up early tomorrow, too, to donate plasma. So that means early bedtime for Jenni tonight.
Hmmm, must make time to run to the bookstore. Or…no. That can wait until tomorrow. And visitiing Professor Scheub can wait until Friday.
I’m out of here.
Hows your zoology class? Mine is awesome, we learn all these lil useless facts..like…did you know that the armadillo is the only animal other than humans to be able to have leprosy? Neat eh?
