Concert and food
I love random little groups of people.
Tonight was the Caroline’s Spine concert at Traxler, which, despite the fact that the damn BEER TENT kept us outside the orange fence, was pretty fun. I went for the music, but also for the company and the distraction.
It worked.
I called the guys one last time, just to see where they were and to see if they’d be home in time. I only talked to Andrew and I got the impression that I bugged him by calling. I let that bother me for about 5 minutes, and then I realized I didn’t care. My reason for the call was perfectly logical. So there was nothing to feel bad about.
After the show, a bunch of people went to Perkin’s. There ended up being three separate tables of us, but that was fine. I was with Ann, Rob, Dawn, Christine, Skippy, Bryan, and Steph. We only stayed about an hour, but we had so much fun – we kept saying Rob was pissy, we listened to his “mantra,” there was an argument about quoted lines, we heard the “broken things” list, and so much more.
It was this small group of rather mismatched people. Not really, but sort of. I think you all understand what I mean by that.
It was just a nice night overall.
