WHY AM I STRUCK WITH THE URGE TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THE HEISENBERG UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE? And I really want to know about Occam’s Razor (see the next few lines)

*I found this on a website, I find it rather amusing

“If you have two theories which both explain the observed facts then you should use the simplest until more evidence comes along”

“The simplest explanation for some phenomenon is more likely to be accurate than more complicated explanations.”

“If you have two equally likely solutions to a problem, pick the simplest.”

“The explanation requiring the fewest assumptions is most likely to be correct.”

… or in the only form which takes its own advice…

“Keep things simple!”

I ACTUALLY FIND THE HUMOR IN THAT LAST PART!

Egads, am I becoming intelligent? 🙂

Nah, it’s probably just something I ate.

I think that’s stupid. Why would you make a principle about something that’s uncertain, even if you’re certain that the uncertainty principle is true? it’s ridiculous!

HEISENBERG UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE ya say? ha, im ready to listen…..i mean, learn? haha thanks for the recent…really recent notes lol that u wrote.its actually quite interesting to read UR diary cause i learn bout stuff that i will soon have to experience myself..like say, this Heisenberg thingie? hmm haha, but definitely more than that live well, and doubt not.<3Erin

hmm,i think i got that somehow…i actually signed up for earth science 2nd semester to fill where i decided not to take band aux(now thats its funky scheduling)..but now im thinkin of taking either pottery or sculpture, since wat i really want to major in is art..so i figured i gotta take some art classes somewhere in there..i cant wait to have him tho, i was in ski club & he was pretty funny lol

ummmm what would make it earth science “B”? the whole reason why i wanted to take the class was for astronomy, so hopefully i will be able to take it…my junior year? wow that seems so far away.

is the heisenburg the principle that sates that the location of an electron is not able to be determined, but we can know the possible positions of any of a given atom’s electrons? i think i remember that from chem. love, corey

Ha.i already knew i was gonna change my mind every year so im just takin classes that seem fun.Maybe they just named astronomy ‘earth science’ and geology some other stupid name to confuse people.thats what craig would do.i need to hit the sack, im gettin that dead feeling.it was nice “noting”(sp?) u back n forth.ur quite an interesting person & i might happen to see u soon, live well, and doubt not

Interesting how you’ve adopted mitch’s philosophies… cool I guess. BEN
