14 (yay!)

Sitting at my computer desk, staring at the art on the cover of the Warcraft III CD. Listening to Creed, “One Last Breath.” It’s a really beautiful song. The music video is kind of cool, too.

I’m researching Paxil. I think it might help me with all of my anxious, worried feelings. I know that often times people will read about a disease or disorder, and think that they have it, but the information about generalized anxiety disorder makes a lot of sense with the problems I’ve been having. I’d like to find a psychiatrist, but I think I’ll wait until I get to Madison. First of all, being in a busy atmosphere might be just what I need to “perk up.” And secondly, I’d like to find someone in Madison, because it’d be a major pain in the butt to come back home once every one or two weeks for therapy.

Talking makes it better. Mitch and I were driving tonight and I just started talking to him about it (and other related subjects). What he said helped, but just the fact that he was LISTENING was even more helpful. I want to talk to Aaron, too, but that’ll have to wait until he’s back from his vacation with Hope’s family.

“He’s, uh…in Wisconsin, I think.” 🙂 Classic.

So was sitting on the Legos. That cracked me up. I had fun “planning” that present. Not a big deal, but just something kind of cool.

I’ve got the urge to get out Legos and Magic cards and play with them for several hours. Barbies, too, and My Little Ponies.

I’ll have a lot of things figured out come Wednesday. After the meeting, I’ll know roughly when I’ll start work and I can decide if I want to take my trip or not. I’m currently looking at ticket prices, and drooling over a $138 round trip one that leaves August 4th. It’s so tempting! And I’ll know how much I’ll get to see Corey when he’s visiting and if I can go to Madison with him when he checks out the campus (it’s pretty likely). I’d like to be able to go to Starbucks and check stuff out. Maybe visit Kat. 🙂

A movie tomorrow, meeting Wednesday, nothing (so far) for Thursday, and thinking about the weekend. I’ve got some ideas for things, but no use counting my chickens. 🙂 Corey gets in next week, work should start fairly soon, my possible trip would be at the beginning of August, more work after that, the canoe trip, maybe a little bit more work, and then I leave for college.

About seven weeks. So long and so short, all at the same time. It’s completely insane. And yet I know that there are already several things waiting for me in Madison – a retreat and an audition, among other things.

Already considering the possibility of not coming home next summer…so far away, yet a nice “dream” to have. 🙂

Yay for random, off-hand comments that make my night. And yay for Bryan Adams’ version of “Heaven.”
