And now I guess it’s back to a psychology major for me. I was looking over my ab. and personality psych notes tonight and I got…excited. I realized I still do love those things! I’ll still have to suffer through psychometric methods, of course, but maybe it will be better here. Maybe my class will be smaller than it was at Madison (that was HORRIBLE).

If you go for a Psych major and need help – just ask (I happen to have a PhD in Psychology) Be sure to get your Stats classes out of the way before taking psychometrics – it’ll be a hugh help in getting through the class, and have friends who are willing to be test subjects so you can practice. Soemtimes the academic counselors don’t let you in the tricks to be successful .

or journalism minor. If you are going for a master’s your minor won’t matter too much. A philosphy minor is good if you’re going into psychology as a prefession – since psychology is a mixture of medicine & philosphy in it’s origin. I will tell you – if you want to work as a psychologist – you better plan on a Ph.D. or go for a master in social work or counseling.
