Spoken in tongues… (a supplement for WoD)

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
The earth weeps, singing dirges for the fallen
The world is new and shall be born anew
in the blood of its prophets

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
A voice rises in waves and flies over the sea
The great walls that held shall hold no more
the shadows of their weight

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
She calls from the depths with the heart of a child
The sun shall drift from its course
high within the eyes of the sun

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
Death and corruption walk in the light
Only a phoenix shall rise from the ash
left behind by the passage of creation

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
Unhindered, blood flows and bone breaks
Three single sparks shall spread their glow
over the tattered pattern of humanity

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
Twilight shakes the ripened fruit from the bough
Where it falls life shall spring
from the dregs of lost dreams and broken lives

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
Three souls share glory and honor and wisdom
A trinity of need in the face of destruction shall lift
mankind from the shores of unbeing

The sky has fallen dark, in its fading light hope has been born
Raise voices in benediction and prayer for the mother
For the world shall sing from mountains to seas
three must become one within the hands of the sun

WoD or the new piece of crap? 🙂

the GOOD world of darkness. the old one of course.

Yes, yes… the old one… the only one worth the paper it’s printed on… New WoD makes me want to stab myself in the eyes with a dull No 2 pencil until I can see God…. *coughs* That was a bit over dramatic, hmmm?

RYN: Haha. 🙂 I hate the WoD reboot, partially for how lame it is, and partially for how lame the excuse and “ending” were. I’ve never actually played Werewolf. I’ve been in the same Mage game for six years now (my husband is the GM and that’s how we met 🙂 ) and we’ve fooled around with Changeling, Hunter, and Vampire, but my husband and I are the only ones who run, and no one has persuaded me to run Werewolf. We do bring them up a lot in Mage, though, what with a few similar goals… not really as friends, of course, being the inferior species that we are. 😉
