Free cat update….

Our newest acquisition went to the vet on Friday.

She is feline leukemia negative, and vetted out fine overall, except for two things. She’s got worms(no, really?) and she tested positive for coccidia, which is an annoying little organism that lives in your gut and ruins your day. It is contagious to EVERYTHING and really tapdances on kitten systems, so she’s on quarantine until further notice.

Good thing we took her in. She’s constantly in the cat pan pooping, and everything we feed her goes right through. At least she’s gaining strength back, with all she’s been eating. And eating. And eating.

I got a purr out of her Friday nite. She has all the charm of an outboard motor.  And she stinks, no matter how you clean her up with baby wipes. I think the end of this week spells bathtime for the little hairball.

Now we just have to trap her two siblings that are still at the auto garage. Brian took a live trap out to Matt, along with a can of kitten chow. I get to feed the results of this endeavor.
