Can we just skip right to 2011?

Monday was not a good day. 

Brian and I had to drive up to Reedsburg, 2 /2 hours away, to pick up Seraphina from the hospital. She had had a seizure while up at the Dells with her grandparents. No idea why and she came out of it ok, but it was scary as hell and since we still don’t have any answers I’m still flipping out about it. We took her to our doctor today who referred us to a neurologist. We have no insurance right now, because the Army is dicking us around about their Reserves health plan, Tricare. So how do we pay for all of this?

I had to quit my job to be home for Sera when she gets on the bus and when she gets home because we can’t afford local child-care(our close-friend sitter is 1/2 hour away- fine for when I worked right there but not so good for staying by her school). Brian starts his junior year of his bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, so that’s good, but we’re trying to re-finance the house, so me not working is not so good. I’m trying to find something part time while Sera-frog’s in school; no luck yet. I’ll find something.

Just trying to stay positive. Trying not to worry about my Frog-Child. She’s her usual chatterbox self again but I’m waiting for it to happen again… I check on her while she sleeps a million times an hour, I swear.

Hoping we can pay the bills. Hoping we don’t lose the house. Hoping Sera-Bear’s going to be ok. Hoping things work out.
