Update from the set!

I kid you not, this entry is from the movie set!

It just so happens this set takes place in an office setting, and the office we’re using to shoot that scene has an internet connection! Since I’m early and I have permission to surf while taking a little R&R between shoots (there were 2 locations today), I decided to post an entry with an update.

Like I stated there were two locations for the film. The first shoot was scheduled for 10a to 5p but turned out to be more like 9:30a – 6:30p instead. The second is slated for 8p-1a but since we fell behind the first there’s no telling when that will really start or finish. But I am not really complaining, this has been a fantastic experience. The crew has been good to work with and the scenes have been easier to get through than I was worried it would be to get through. Not as many blown lines as I originally thought I would have, and the director seemed very satisfied with scenes delivered by both leads (there are only two)…

I can’t remember the last time I wore this much makeup when it wasn’t halloween, but I realize it’s done to make me look better so it’s not a nausance at all. I forget how much standing it requires to get through a single shot let alone a scene, so eight hours later I am ready to put my feet up and take it easy for a while. Just had a small bite to eat and I’m going to relax before I’m dragged back out to stand up for another several hours. It’s all worth it cause the stuff we’ve shot so far has been nothing short of amazing! The material is hilarous, and the characters play off each other so well. I can’t wait to see the finished product… this is goin to be hysterical.

So as much as I would love to gab on about this more. I’m going to take a small rest. I’ll post again tomorrow when I’m back in hammer town. Take care and have a good weekend!

Did you have to sign up with SAG? Whats the pay on this gig? Also, at what level will the distribution of this be? Will you get a copy of the movie at the end?

“…small bite to eat” in the context of a zombie film (because you said you have a speaking role, so I’m guessing it’s that one) is deeply, deeply funny. Can I ask the name of the movie?
