The online campaign against both the Democratic and Republican nominee has already begun, and I can say that’s a rather interesting pic of Barack that SK has posted his diary. Once place that you can go to get see dirt on both canidates is Youtube. Where parties are posting videos that show clips that are likely not subject to the rules that stop ads from making it to the airways on television, so anything goes in this forum. Some very interesting clips, especially the last one which attacks McCain on the issue that he’s supposed to be really strong on, being the war. This clip proves he knows little or anything about it, and is out of touch with reality where that conflict is concerned. I don’t think we want someone that out of touch with what’s going on to have their finger on the button, nor would we want someone with such a history of flip flopping in the first two clips to take over. Is this really the best the GOP could do?

Unfortunately, McCain is the best the GOP could get as a candidate this year and I would concede that a conservative Repub would get creamed in the General. That pic of Obama was intended by Yahoo to front a serious article. They are lost in Barry worship. What the extreme lefty’s fail to see, is that McMaverick, formerly loved by the left for defying the republican base time after time, is the one who has practiced bipartisianship. He has crossed the aisle in McCain/Feingold, the gang of 14 etc. Can you name one time that Barry has done that in the Senate and no, the Illinois senate doesn’t count though I doubt he did there either? He preaches a new politic but his actions betray his Chicago political roots. Down and dirty. I’ve got popcorn and a soda sitting on the couch watching this soap opera playout into November. Heaven help us if it drags into recounts ala Florida.

SK: If McCain vs. Obama does really drag out into recounts ala Florida, it won’t be pretty cause I think that’s when we’ll see a little of his Chicago roots come out. That won’t be a pretty fight, it will be long drawn out ugly court battle. And I’m talking bowling shoe ugly here…

I think people are disappointed by how McCain abandoned his ‘straight talk’ in order to suck up to the far right and gain the nomination. And certainly attacking him will be easy. Obama doesn’t have his experience of getting us into the Iraq disaster. Obama doesn’t have his experience of almost getting expelled from the Senate and thrown in jail because of Keating Five slime and corruption either.

Any career politician that’s been in Washington a quarter century like him is going to cross the aisle once in a while. Heck, even Jesse Helms did it a few times. What’s interesting for the so-called party of business is that John McCain has been on the public teat his entire adult life. Pretty much every real job he’s had has been paid by the taxpayers. Even his entire college education.
