The Hazbeen

This has to be the weirdest and yet funniest thing about being an actor. You’re farting around on you tube just to pass the time and you come across a video that features, well… you. That happened to me tonight as I stumbled across a video of some work I did in May.

This picture is of yours truely on you tube on the pilot epiode (all 3 mins of it) of a little thing called ‘The Hazbeen’. This was the half day shoot I did on Victoria Day. Nothing earth shattering, it was only two lines… but I did it because the director was in need of help cause he had an actor pull out of the project at the very, very last minute. I got the call and dropped in with less than 24 hours notice.

From what I was told by the producers and the director, the pilots are being pitched to all the music channels here in Canada to push for a possible mocumentary like sitcom. You never know, if it were picked up, the former bodyguard might return or never get heard from again. You never know with this industry or how writers think…

This was a non-paying gig, but I thought it was cool and after watching the video, I was happy with how it turned out. I actually liked the show and thought it was very funny! And I’m not that cruel either, posted below is the video in question. Take a gander and I hope you all enjoy my performance, all two amazing lines of it. 😉
