Still working away….
I had a really rough week, but things seem to be back on track. There is only 7 days left to this year’s Nano… and I have a little under 15,000 words to go. This should be no trouble at all. I don’t anticipate any trouble, but after the really slow week I just had I can’t make any promises. I was really off my game with the illness and other countless distractions.
I’m going to make a better effort this week to go out with a bang in the final week of writing for this year’s Nano. I plan to pass my goal and even have a little to spare. The story itself seems to be going along as well. Sometimes if feels like I’m banging my head against a brick wall, but other times I feel like it’s all coming together, just depends on the time I’m trying to spit it out. It’s that kind of book I guess…
Leah was in the mood to see a movie yesterday, so we went out to check out ‘Quantum Of Solace’. It was pretty freakin’ wicked. I really enjoyed this film and have been enjoying all the Daniel Craig Bond films so far… espeically since they are all about the spy and less about the lame jokes and gadgets. They’re more loyal to Fleming’s image of Bond, and that’s what makes these latest slate of movies so popular. They’ve got a good thing on the go with this bloke, let’s hope they don’t blow it.
So things are good again, let’s hope I don’t be a wanker and blow this one as well. I’m going back to write a few more words before bed. Take care everyone and I hope you all had a good weekend!
Peter
good luck with your book! =]
Warning Comment
people can say all they want about connery being the best bond (he probably is the best bond). but daniel craig is the perfect bond.
