Renewed…

This weekend, my OD Plus status was renewed. I badly wanted to take the lifetime membership… but at this point I can’t afford it. Leah and I are planning to move to a new appartment at the end of the month and are flying to Toronto fifteen days later for a wedding, so this was a time where I couldn’t crunch the pennies together to make it work. I promised the DM in a note I would at minimum renew for another year, and I have. I hope that the DM chooses to leave ‘Lifetime’ as a permanent option because I’d love to eventually take advantage of it at a later time. But for now, I’m renewed and still enjoying the great perks of OD+.

It was a good weekend here on the island, though I can’t say too much for Monday as we’re getting blasted by that storm that just kicked the crap out of the US East Coast. Over a foot and a half have fallen overnight and I’m just hoping the buses are running tomorrow morning or it’s going to be a rough and expensive cab fare kind of day. We’ll have to wait and see I guess. But I don’t expect too much trouble since I’m sure the roads will be half decent by the morning rush.

I hate to cut this short, but I should get a little more sleep before the kids wake up. Hope everyone had a great weekend and I’ll post again tomrrorow from work if I can find a little time between calls. Until then, everyone take care…
