Quick pre-bedtime entry…

I’m heading to bed early tonight because the kids are here. I usually make an effort to go to bed super early, so if Jon decides to wake up early, I won’t be exhausted the next day. I’ve got the kids for the next four nights, keeping them until Monday because of the holiday weekend. I’ve never had a problem with more time with the boys and Leah gets a break so I never got a fight from her about it.

Today I got notice that my Mother is going to have surgery on Monday. She’s going to have open heart surgery, triple bypass. I’m a little worried but there’s not much I can do about it. I hope she gets through it and recovers quickly. Monday also happens to be April 9th, her birthday… she turns 59 this year.

No big plans for this weekend, we’re just going to hang out and have a good time. Lots of baseball this weekend as the season gets underway, and Jon loves to watch the games with me so that’s something I am looking forward to doing most of the weekend.
