Predictions: 2012 ACADEMY AWARDS

It’s that time of year again, the night before the big show when little gold statues are going to be handed out and many within the Hollywood elite will spend the better part of the night patting eaching other on the back and kissing a lot of ass. And I’m here again to offer my predictions to who I think will walk out with their own little statue tomorrow night when Billy Crystal hosts the show for the seven billionth time. I was looking forward to seeing Eddie Murphy host the show, but we’ll have to settle for a rerun. Hopefully the awards themselves will not be as predicatable as the host who will likely sing, make a few lame out of date jokes and nothing more.

BEST PICTURE:

– The Artist

– The Decendents

– Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

– The Help

– Hugo

– Midnight In Paris

– Moneyball

– The Tree Of Life

– War Horse

I have seen most of the nominations, and while I was rooting for ‘Midnight In Paris’ for the longest time… I have been swayed by some rather amazing movies that have been nominated this year. I am confused to why there were only nine nominees rather than the 10 there are supposed to be, but I have an idea of where this is going.

I agree with you about the Descendants and Moneyball. I have seen 5 out of the 9 Best Picture nominees, that’s pretty good for me. A lot of years I am totally clueless

BEST VISUAL EFFECTS: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 I HOPE HOPE HOPE!!!! Only reason I’ll watch and maybe Gary Oldman, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy!!(But I doubt that one but would be so nice!!)
