Novel Writing Update: Day 1 is over…

To say that I am off to a good start would be a complete understatement. I did a lot of doodling between calls at work, and actually managed to write quite a bit. I even got to write a few pages when I got home from work. Chapter 1 is finished and is 8 pages long. I’m halfway through Chapter 2 and that’s not looking half bad either.

My word count after day one: 4,471

Not too shabby. I thought the number was going to be around two or three thousand so I’m very happy with that number. All I need to do is have ten days like that in November and I’ll easily make the 50,000 word goal. I’m going to keep working on it tomorrow cause I think a good first week will make this project easier to complete.

That’s it for now though. I’m off for bed to get a little rest. I hope everyone is doing all right and I’ll do my best to be around and leave a few notes.
