Nano Update: Day 28

Including today, I have three afternoons and two nights to finish my 50K word count, and here is where I currently stand:

I’m about 12K short with over 50 hours to go but I’m not worried. I’ve been far more behind than this in previous years and still managed to make it. I’m going to split the deficit in two and do 6K tonight and the other 6K tomorrow so I won’t have to worry about anything on Friday cause I have to pick up the boys that afternoon and that’s when my Dad is dropping in.

I’ve spent this morning tidying the place up a bit. I like to do that before the kids come over and destroy the place. My Dad is a bit of an OCD person himself so I like to make an effort, but I doubt it’s going to be up to his standards by this time tomorrow so I might give up already.
