Nano 2012: Day 8

Because this was an election year, I knew far in advance that I needed to be ahead by the time Tuesday rolled around because I would not be able to get any work done that day and possibly Wednesday and I was right. I got nothing done on Tuesday.

Last night, after the celebration settled… I got back to work and wrote 3000 words. Tonight I plan to write at least another 3K after supper. I like the pace I’m going with this novel and I do happen to like the direction this novel has taken.

A question to the people who are able to read my FO entries: would you like me to post a sample of the book I’m currently working on?

I used to do this for past Nanos but stopped a few years ago. If there are enough people out there who want a teaser of the new book, I might be willing to post a exerpt just for you guys.

Well, that’s it for the update from here. I’m going to get something to eat and then spit out another 3000 words. Hope everyone is having a great Thursday and I’ll be back tomorrow. Until then, take care…
