My foot hurts…
I was supposed to go into Toronto for an audition tomorrow, but I emailed the casting agents to let them know I would be able to make it. It’s non-paying gig so I’m not too worried. The last few days, my foot has been hurting a lot. Every few steps I take, it feels like someone is driving a nail into the top of my foot. My assistence with my younger son is also required tomorrow, so I have been resting the last day or so to make sure I can help out with minimal discomfort.
Tomorrow is PD Day here in the city, so Jon doesn’t have transport to his afternoon session at IBI. Since Leah is in worse shape than I am, I have volunteered to take Jon back and forth tomorrow, just like I did every day during the summer. It will be fun to bus around town with Jon again like I did during the summer. He’s doing very well in his classes so I couldn’t be prouder of the little guy.
I have a football game tomorrow night as well, but I’ll go straight to the game after I drop Jon off after IBI. After I paint some faces for a good cause, I’m staying off my feet for the remainder of the weekend, hoping the extra rest will make my foot feel better. If not I am thinking of visiting a doctor about it on Monday.
Things are good here in the city. Out of the blue, I woke up at 4am with an idea in my head. I immediately hopped out of my bed and bolted straight for the comptuer. Two hours later I had written a list of chapters and summaries along with two actual chapters of the new book idea that just came to me. I’ve begun to learn that when I idea comes to you, jump all over it and get it down as soon as possible.
So that’s the 411 from the Hammer for now. I hope everyone else is having a killer week. I promise to come back soon, maybe with a review or two if I get the chance. Until then, take care!
