My evening with the Mythbusters…

Last nights show was amazing!

I literally had no idea what to expect going in, and I walked out more than amused with what I had seen. The show was not only funny and entertaining, but it was extremely educational as well. There were a lot of kids at the show, and by the time it was over I kind of regretted not taking Ethan with me… I really think he would have enjoyed it. Maybe if the do another tour I’ll take him next time.

Here are a few photos from last night’s show:

My view of the stage, not bad considering that I paid $80 for the ticket.

This was the release form that everyone had to fill out if the wanted a chance to be picked to come up on stage and participate in the show. I filled mine out but never had a chance to go up, which was okay.

In this picture, Jamie is taking questions from the audience. I was tempted to ask a question but decided to hold back since I doubt that kind of debate wasn’t appropriate considering the ages of those in attendance, but it was fun to hear them answer the lame questions that were tossed their way.

In this picture, Adam is hanging 30 feet in the air with being strapped to two phonebooks what are interlocked together. It was a cool segment, especially considering once he was back on the ground Adam jingled the phonebooks softly to break them apart to prove there was nothing funny about them.

In this picture, Jamie is shooting an audience member (who is dressed in a suit of armor) with a four barrel (200 round per minute) paintball gun. That entire glass was covered when he was finished. It was pretty epic paintballing…

Overall it was a lot of fun and I would go again in a heartbeat. I really hope Adam and Jamie tour again, hopefully bringing the whole crew out next time. If you get a chance to see this awesome show, I would highly recommend it. You’ll laugh, be amazing even learn a few things… which rarely happens when I go out for a live show so that was great!

This pretty much made my year so far, but it’s still young so I hope to do a few more fun things before the year wraps up but this was a great way to start off a great spring/summer of 2012. Since I am working, I am hoping to do a few more good shows this year and hopefully some of them will be half as fun as this was.
