In Memoriam: Stephen Hawking

I never had the pleasure to meet the man himself, but the brilliance of his work has been an influence to many people around the world. The fact he did most of this work while suffering from a disease that would end most people’s ambitions is just another sign of how strong and resilient this man truly was. He was a living testament that a disability cannot stop you from being the best you can be. His determination, zest for life and discoveries within our cosmos made him a person that humanity will forever be indebted to. Prof. Stephen Hawking expanded our understanding of the mysteries of the universe. His brilliance and commitment to science is an inspiration to us all.

He will be missed, but his work will live on.
