Hooking up with some fellow heathens…

I apologize for not posting a Monday School this week, but I am going to make up for it next week with a killer entry. Tomorrow I am actually going to meet a dozen atheists at a local pub and just hang out with some fellow non-believers and enjoy each other’s company. I haven’t really done something like this before, make plans with other atheists to meet and hang out before so I am looking forward to it.

It’s also taking place at my favorite pub, so I’m going to order some great grub, have a few Strong Bows and chat up the evening with some new friends. I don’t know about you but that sounds like a great time. I’m cursious to see what the subject will be for most of the night, but I think it’s just going to be about regular stuff and not religious the entire time. I think the idea is to just hang out with someone and not have to worry about what you might say (Concerning any subject) might offend someone based on what fairy tales they were raised on.

That kind of atmosphere is going to be very welcome. I’m going to take pictures and what not and leave a full report about how things went later this week. I’m very excited to see how things go, how many actually show up and what not. At worst, I’m hitting a pub that I like eating at and will have a lot of fun regardless.

If there is anyone living in my area that wants to participate and hang out with a bunch of atheists for good food, drinks, etc… then leave me a private message and I’ll get back to you with more details. Until then, everyone have a great Tuesday and I’ll be around.
