Here we go again. Another November, another novel

Yes, I’m doing it again. Based on how well things went with last year’s novel… I would be crazy not to participate in the National Novel Writing Month a second time. Once again I am going to spend a good chunck of November writing 50,000 words. I’ve got a few characters premade and a starting point, that’s pretty much all you need to get started.

Like I did last year, I will be posting novel exerpts for the viewing pleasure of my favorites. Any comments or suggstions would be welcome and all taken under consideration. I’ll reveal more about the direction I’m going to take with this novel when I get an idea of it myself.

I expect this month’s novel to not be as troubling as the last one was. While I was penning the first 50,000 words of ‘The Manifest’, I was working full time and also was packing to move. Both of those are not a factor this month, so I should have less trouble making the goal with plenty of time to spare (knock on wood!).

Take care and have a good week!

Peter

Ug – definitely sounds less complicated this year. Good luck! Found you on the front page. I’m starting Nano today too. 🙂

I really wanted to take part in this this time around, but November is going to be a rough month for me. Trying to get my grandmother into a nursing home, my grandfather moved in with us, etc. I’m going to tour more facilities tomorrow, so it’s quite stressful. I do want to eventually create a memoir- based on my experiences last year in the hospital and clawing my way back to the real world.

You’re doing better than I am. I added you here and on NaNo. Why not. (Mary-Lynn there.)
