Got the job!

I knew I aced the interview… so much that I told Leah not to be surprised if the call came today for me to start on Monday. That call came less than an hour ago. I am employed and have only been in town for 9 days. Not too shabby, eh?

I cancelled Monday’s interview, and look forward to my first day of work. Training is only four hours a day, but based on the insane help they need I’m sure that will expand to 8 a day once we’re on the floor. I don’t mind as this money @ $12 per hour is better than being on Employment Insurance for the month. At least there is more money coming in and we’ll work from there. I have a really great feeling about this place and that’s the best part about it. I really have a feeling I’m going to like working at this place.

So Daddy has a job and is going back to work. That will make the holidays and the month a little less stressful for everyone, that much I know. So that’s the news for today, pretty cool stuff, eh?

top hole! anyway, job schmob – what i’m writing about is: i crossed your path some time ago, through zombywoof and wondered if YOU have any notion what ever happened to the big sloppy libertarian fried pizza eating brain head? i think he might have returned to his home planet, but i hope he’s OK – he just disappeared one day, like that last bottle of labatt, you were keeping for that special moment!
