Going all right so far…
The first two nights with the boys was a little rougher than usual. You could have sworn the guys were trying to make the first week a special one for yours truely. One thing I think that lead to a restless night at the appartment however was a lack of nummys (pacifiers) and without them, not everyone was able to get to best and sleep soundly. As a result, neither did I. The second night I had everyone asleep and sound and the some asshole calls and wakes up the baby. I found out who did it and that guy’s ass is going to get seriously kicked. But it’s all okay, cause I knew there was going to be a little difficulty with this week’s turnover. I expected the kids fight change just a little, but I’m sure they’ll get into a groove and get used to it, hopefully sooner than later.
Despite not having something to carry Jonathan around in, I took him and Ethan to the park yesterday. It was good to get them out of the house and out for some fresh air. It was nice to get them out to play around, but I forgot to take the digital camera which would have been cool cause there are few moments that I think would have made awesome photos. I’ll have to bring it with me next time so I can post them all here. I also might take them to the grocery store to pick a few things up, but I’m just worried about Ethan running around and trying to eat stuff. I might hold that off until our next payday so we can teach Ethan he can’t have stuff unless we buy it first.
Speaking of getting stuff, a box from Nashville showed up yesterday. What was in it was a printer that Leah had bought while she was down there in April. They could bring it back to Mom & Dad shipped it up to us at a later time. Better late then never I always say. It’s a nice printer, and it’s even got a scanner as well so I can scan pictures and stuff on it too! So it’s a neat machine, and I’ll have to test a few times today and see how it works out.
I also made some cool stuff for Ethan today. For the first time, he had weiners and beans for lunch, and while he didn’t seem too impressed with it at first, he did eat half his bowl so I’m proud of the little guy. For supper I made a safer choice with Fish & Chips, and Ethan ate most of that rather quickly. He loves his fries and I don’t mind giving them to him as long as they are baked in the oven and not fried. I might go with something safer for lunch today (Soup) and then try something different for supper, but not sure what just yet.
So things while not going perfectly are all right none the less. Sleep is hard to come by lately, but the DVR is working OT to make sure I can sleep when I want and not when the TV tells me to. Probably when Ethan goes down for a nap later tonight I’ll catch on a few shows with Leah before she goes to work. Jonathan doesn’t mind watching different stuff, he’s to young to complain about watching our stuff just yet.
It’s Wednesday already, but things will get better as the week goes on. Hope everyone has a great hump day, and I’ll be around later today to leave some notes and maybe another entry. Until then, take care…
Peter
Yikes! Mommy is working amd you took away the pacifiers! That’s a lot for the kids to handle all of a sudden.
