Eating Disorder Food Survey?
I saw a food survey that’s going around and I’m going to nip that in the bud cause I find it to be a tad unrealistic. It listed foods and said that is you were over a certain number, you were a fatty and under a certain number… you had an eating disorder. What I disagreed with is that a can of V8 tomato juice had the same rating as Ice Cream. That doesn’t work for me… so I’m going to rework the survey and make it a little more fair, and break things up. So here goes:
All you have to do it mark an X beside the stuff you have eaten/drank over the last seven days:

Now for the Scale:
Under 25: You have a serious problem with a lack of food, possible eating disorder. Seek help
Under 45: A level that requires attention, you need to make time to eat cause you’re not doing yourself any favors.
Between 45 and 85: This is what I will consider a good, balanced and well taken diet. If you’re in here, you have a displined diet and are serious about what you put into your body.
Between 85 and 115: If you’re in this category, I call you the fun loving food type. You love to eat, but eat only when you want to and are capable of keeping a grip on things and not overdo it. This is what I would call the middle ground. Not too strict, but not too free.
Between 115 and 145: This isn’t bad, but it’s no where near good either, but you’re getting close to having a bad problem with fatty foods… especially fast foods.
Over 145: I really think the only way you can top this is to eat a lot if not most of the fast foods. This means you are a fatty and need to cut out the greasy foods
Over 170: The opposite of the lowest scale… seek help.
I personally think this is a fair system, cause not all food should be considered equal. I’m curious to see what people think of this one as opposed to the other that’s going around. Just incase you guys are curious… I tested this survey on myself, I scored a 92.

I’d do this just for laughs, but it’s so North-American biased that I don’t know what some of the things are! 2% milk for example – what’s that? It comes in whole, semi-skimmed or skimmed here. I don’t know what hi-c or Kool Aid are, and Freedom Toast is a mystery! And nine of the fast food outlets don’t exist here 🙂 On that basis, it’d probably tell me I had an eating disorder! But I agree withyou that not all food can be considered equal, and that this seems a lot fairer than the original. (Though there’s still a shocking lack of fresh vegetables!) People worry too much about food and weight. All things in moderation, surely?
Warning Comment
Why would good ‘cerial’ as it is spelled, be in the snack category? Also, very scientific for them to say ‘you are a fatty’ . That being said, I scored a 72.
Warning Comment
Oh and ya know, I had mcdonald’s with a hi-c last night 😉 hey I was desperate! I did notice you put some more items in the right categories; a previous version was all over the place with food items!

StolenI got 100…but I had a bad week lolluckily it did not mention the quantity of the food!
Warning Comment
I love how freedom toast is the worst thing on the list.
Warning Comment
I only scored a 31, which makes absolutely no sense, because I eat properly.
