Dawn of the Dinosaurs…

Today was another disorganzed day. Jonathan had an assesment that we’ve been waiting for months to do and at the last minute our sitter bails cause her daughter has to see the doctor too on the same day! Leah was already off for the day to take Jon to the appointment but didn’t want to take Ethan with her cause it would be too much for her and she worried the appointment would be too hectic.

So I went to my bosses and asked for the day off. They agreed but I had to make it up this week by doing three 12 hours days. Monday Tuesday and Thursday are not 9-9 and I’m going to be exhausted come Saturday. So I got the day off and decided to use the time to do something fun together. I took Ethan to the same mall where I worked and we had lunch at the deli I buy tea and other stuff from all the time. I had my usual Cornbeef on rye w/ swiss cheese, and Ethan had yogurt and toast. The manager is really nice and since I’m a regular I get treated very nicely. He gave Ethan a rice krispie square on the house, and Ethan was very polite and thanked him for it. I was very proud.

After lunch, we went to the movie theatre and saw ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’, which is the third animated Ice Age film. It was all right but no where near as good as the second, which I think is the best of all three. Ethan liked it though and I guess that’s what matters. He sat very politely and only talked a few times and was quiet when he did. The theatre was near empty anyway so it didn’t matter that much.

In all, Ethan and I had a lot of fun, but now I’m going to spend the rest of my day cleaning the house up. Leah and Jon are not back yet so I’m going to clean the place up and get supper started early so Leah doesn’t have to do anything when she gets back. I’ll post later, but until then take care everyone and enjoy your hump day!

I haven’t seen either of the Ice Age movies(though I think we have them, lol). We did take the kids to see the 3rd installment in 3D a few weeks back though. I thought it was cute.
