Costume shopping for the kids

The last two years, we’ve been unable to take Ethan out for Halloween, one year because of weather the other cause I was working and Leah was a little too pregnant w/ Jonathan to do it. This year since I have the time off, as long as the weather isn’t too cold, I’m determined to let Ethan participate this year and get some candy like the other kids do every year. Now in order to get Ethan ready, I need to go out there and get Ethan a decent costume to do his door to door walk with. Since this is going to be his first year out there, I’m thinking of getting something really nice for him to wear. Here are some pictures of the costumes that I think Ethan would enjoy wearing since they’re based on his favorite shows:

Ethan is a huge Lazytown fan, the only think that concerns me about this ‘Sporticus’ costume is the fact it might be cold out there on Oct 31st.

Ethan also loves the Backyardigans, and he smiled and said ‘Pablo’ when he saw this picture. The fact he can be warm underneath it also makes it an early favorite.

This Backyardigan Tyrone costume looks cool as well, but personally I prefer the Pablo one.

This one looks super cool, and given the fact this year Superman is the in Superhero this year makes this a good choice too. You can also wear stuff under it as well which means he can dress warmly in this one too.

So those are the costumes that I’ve been looking at for Ethan, here are a few that I have been looking at for Jonathan. Well, if I’m going to take one out, I might as well take both… so here are a few I’m looking at for the little guy:

Since this costume looks better with someone short, how could one not consider this one for the infants?

Sticking to that Star Wars theme, this one is just soooo cute and it’s also very cheap to get. Also very easy to dress warm underneath it, as is the previous one.

I’m not too fond of this one, but it’s the kind Leah would love and want me to get…

This one would be super cool to buy, especially if Ethan ended up wearing the Superman costume cause we’d have this Justice League theme on the go… that would be a lot of fun!

So these are the costumes that I’ve been looking at for my boys. I’m gonna have to order them soon if I want them here on time for the big day. So what do you guys think?
