Conservatives live in a bubble of denial…

It’s it amusing to watch the ‘tighty-righties’ freak out whenever things don’t go their way… despite the fact that many of us saw this coming a mile away. These nutballs all seem to have such a death grip on the religion of their ideology that there’s no way that they will ever admit that the problem isn’t the messenger (in this case Romney), the problem is the message itself (their ideology).

We’ve all seen that when they win by even the slimmest of margins, they interpret it as a mandate from the masses that said masses LOVE their ideology. Yet when they lose, even by an enourmous ‘landslide’ margin, they claim the reason they lost was because their candidate wasn’t conservative enough. Whatever people!

I’ve got a feeling that when they get their asses handed to them in November, it’ll be because the American people have become just too stupid to appreciate how wonderful the Republicans are. They’re actually dumb enough to try to claim this. Will be fun to watch them all crying in their beers on November 7th.

Right now right wing media outlets (like Fox News) are already preparing for the end and making excuses to dismiss Obama’s successfull re-election in November. This wouldn’t be a first time either. Does everyone remember four years ago when little-known ACORN was allegedly (but never proven to) trying to flood ballot boxes with fraudulent votes? This alledged story was rebroadcasted so often that there are many Republican supporters who honesty think ACORN “stole” the election for Obama, who defeated McCain by more than nine million votes

Now they`re working on a new excuse: Voter suppression. Media outlets on the right are trying to claim that pollsters are trying to scare people (mainly Romney supporters) into staying home and not voting because they`ll be under the impression that it is a lost cause. Seriously?

Forget the fact that possibly the polls might be telling the truth. Forget the fact that the polls might reflect how the people feel about Romney and his holyier than thou attitude towards 47% of the people that he thinks are nothing but moochers and losers. Forget the fact that Obama is just kicking ass again like he did in 2008. When I was watching the Republican primaries, I had no doubt that none of the candidates had what it took to beat Obama. Right now he`s proving my point and then some.

I`m sore this has to be a blow to the right wingers I know, because as far we can tell… the media is already prepping for this year`s excuse. Even they know Romney is going to get his ass handed to him and it`s Obama for another four years. While this cannot be shocking to those who are aware of the right`s tactics over the years… it`s interesting to know that even that side is ready to toss in the towel before the first debate ever takes place.

I`m sure they`re hoping for the best, but as of right now… they`re preparing for the worst. Even from this side of the border, we can see how screwed Romney is right now. Then again we`ve always been rooting for another four more years of Obama, which would be the best option for both our nations and our fragile economies.

I’ve seen speculation that, if Romney loses, Republicans might move to the middle. This speculation is wrong. I can guarantee, right now, that most conservatives will blame Romney’s defeat on him being a moderate. They’re going to say they lost because they didn’t field a conservative enough candidate, and keep pushing the party to the right.

Going by the freakonomic theory that what you do reveals what you value, the only conclusions I can draw is that the Republicans are currently driven, not by a desire to win any particular election, but to drive the party and the country as far into fascism as possible and then break the stick off.

I agree with what Tiamatty said. The Tea Party Republicans will keep pushing further to the right. It’s hard to imagine they can be worse than they are already. ryn: Thanks for voting in my presidential election poll!

Polls only show the truth of what they want to show. Don’t forget, the two main people that everyone is paying attention to are related to the royal family of England.
