Call me a glutton for punishment…

Today, work offered unlimited overtime in the Internet department, and being so close to the holidays… it was too good to pass up. Basically the division needs people to pick up the service level which has been way too low lately, so me being here is to help with that stat and has nothing to do with call volume. This was the best kind of overtime to do cause it won’t always be too busy. Today I came in intending to clock as much time as possible, put only managed to put out a normal eight hours. It was my goal coming into today because I wanted to make up for the hours that I lost on Wednesday cause of our premature trip to the hospital with leah. I originally wanted to do about 12 hours to make up lost time and more, but it was really busy mid day and beyond so that sucked the life right out of OT. So once I made all that time back, I called it a day and went home.

Last night Leah, Mom and I watched a new episode of Commander In Chief that I had recorded with the DVR earlier this week. There is nothing on TV on Fridays, so that is a night when I catch up on good shows I couldn’t stay up to watch at their regular times. It was a good episode and while the Thanksgiving ending was a little too cheery between characters that are supposed to be bitter rivals, it was an ineteresting one none the less. I’m curious to see what Zombie thinks of the show since Steven Boccocho took over. The show is a little tamer, and not as ruthless… hell, the president hasn’t invaded or overthrown anyone in over four episodes!

So things are going really well here. I’ve mananged to make up lost time but still be able to go home early and hang out with the kid and the women. And we also watched a few cooking shows on the food network before finally calling it a night. Tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun because my work is hosting a Christmas party for the kids, and we’re all going so Leah and my Mom will meet a lot of people from work. Should be a lot of fun and it’s being held at a local movie theatre so the kids can watch a movie, get a present and have a lot of fun. We’re going to take pictures and might post them later this week. Until then, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I’ll be around cause I’m not working today. OT is offered today too, but I at least want one day off for the party and to relax. Take care..
