Blogathon # 49: It’s all over… again

Time: 10:30am Island Time (9:00am EST)

It’s 10:30am. That’s 24 hours. I’m done. So ends my second consecutive blogathon. My hands are sore and my shoulders are aching, but I know again that I’ve done something special. It was all worth it…

Before I go to bed and pretty much pass out, I wanted to take a moment to thank those to made a pledge to support my charity, the Hospital for Sick Children. Your donations are greatly apprecaited. If you want to make a donation but haven’t just yet, you still can up to this Wednesday coming I believe. So it’s not too late if you want to toss in some last minute donations.

A special congrats to my fellow Open Diary Bloggers who represented our great website and did it very well. A big thumbs up to everyone who made this another special event. Having other diaries to read is what helped me make it through and for that… you all have my most heartfelt thanks. This has been an exhausting event, two kids didn’t help that much… but in the end it’s over and all pledges have been earned and will be given to my charity. I fell a great sense of pride that I’ve finished this event two years running. I will only consider a third of Leah and hte kids leave to visit her mother/family that weekend. If not, I might take a pass next year… but you never know.

So in conclusion, this event is done like dinner. Stick the fork in me, I’m finished! I might be back online tonight but if not, I’ll post an update/status entry tomorrow. Everyone else go to bed and enjoy your rest… I know I will. Everyone take care and have a good Sunday. My blogathon is offically over, and I’m going to bed.
