Blogathon # 36: Up and about… again

Time: 4:00am Island Time (2:30am EST)

During last year’s blogathon, Ethan was almost two and during the actual event, he woke up only once that night. After being up an hour, he went back to bed and never got back up until morning. This Jonathan has smoked the wake up in the middle of the night record. He’s back up again for the third time tonight, and tempted as I was to let Leah get up and take care of him for me, I resisted. When I crash at 10:30 this morning, I don’t want to be disturbed at all… so the best way to guarentee that would be not to disturb Leah when she’s trying to get her sleep.

This time however, Jonathan is wide away and a few hours away from his next feeding. So to make sure I have time to write the entries, I’ve tossed the little guy into his vibrating chair and loaded up an episode of Dora the Explorer to distract him. It seems to be working right now, but I’ll let you know what happens from there. Looks like the little guy might be up for a while this time but that’s all right cause I’ll keep him distracted long enough when necessary to pop back online and post again.

So I’m watching Dora with Jonathan for now. Everyone take care and I’ll be back again in 30 minutes…
