Blogathon # 34: Bottles and Mp3 Music…
Time: 3:03am Island Time (1:33am EST)
Turns out I was a little premature when I said that Leah made the bottles. I guess she forgot cause there were none in the fridge when I happened to be going there to get a hot dog to nuke up. So while eating that hot dog, I made up three bottles and got that out of the way. So if Jonathan wakes up again and needs a feeding, I’ll be ready and will will the bottles. It’s a good thing I checked cause I would have been up the creek if the time I found out was when Jonathan was supposed to feed. I guess no harm no foul seems to count in this case…
Got some music on, with over 1000 mp3s on the Winamp player… set to random. That’s why to keep things rocking. It’s an insane mix of music. Some classical, some country, and hell… even some new stuff from the new Rockstar Supernova show. I’ve got all of Dalana’s stuff downloaded so far. She just flat out rocks and I would love to see her win the competition. I also have some of Lukas’ stuff downloaded too… as they seem to be the early favorites based on how available their stuff is online. To give you an idea of the variety I have on the system, I set my player to random and these were the next 15 songs that popped up:
1. Do the Bearcat (David Wilcox)
2. Miss You (The Rolling Stones)
3. Save a horse, ride a Cowboy (Big & Rich)
4. Too Much Heaven (Bee Gees)
5. The Living Years (Mike + The Mechanics)
6. Precious (Depeche Mode)
7. Purple Rain (Prince)
8. End Of The World As We Know It (REM)
9. Teenage Wasteland (The Who)
10. Finish What You Started (Van Halen)
11. It Wasn’t Me (Shaggy)
12. Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life (Monty Python)
13. Nothin’ But A Good Time (Poison)
14. Ghost Of A Good Thing (Dashboard Confessional)
15. Ahead by a Century (The Tragically Hip)
So that’s what I’m doing right now. It’s gonna get tougher as the night goes on. I’ll know I’m in the home stretch around 5am when the sun comes up. That will be when I know I can really make it.
Hope everyone else is doing what they can to stay up and I’ll be back in 30…

I saw Depeche Mode in concert in San Antonio back in ’98. They put on a hell of a show.
