Blogathon # 19: Consulting the nurse

Time: 7:34pm Island Time (6:04pm EST)

Leah was letting Jonathan sit down and so a little floor time when she noticed that the little guy has a bit of a rash. We’re not sure if it’s a reaction to something he’s eaten today, or if it’s a heat rash from the weather. While today isn’t a scorcher, it’s still warm enough to have an effect. We’re not sure what it is so we have a nurse that we can consult just for such situations.

That nurse would be my Mom. She’s been retired for a while, but she’s still someone good to consult for something that we have no bloodly idea about. Thanks to modern technology, we’ve take a picture with my digital cam and sent it down to Tennessee for her consult. We’ll get a verdict later on. I just think it’s a heat rash. We haven’t given anything weird to Jonathan today that would cause any kind of reaction, but you never know.

We’ve always been very careful to what the little guy eats, and to never introduce any more than one new thing at a time so if he does react, we’ll know exactly what caused it. Yet Jonathan is in good spirits and seems to be doing rather well, so we’re not too worried right now. We’ll wait for mom to call back.
