Big Brother 8: War in the house (Spoilers)

I’ve been rather silent about what’s been going on, but last night was about the most exciting and nasty nights I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching this show for eight years. Danielle won the Veto. First time this year the HOH has won the veto and had the chance to keep the votes the same or backdoor someone else. Turns out Danielle chose the latter of the two as she picked to save Amber, vetoing her nomination. She put Jen up in her place… which I think is about time! This was the only way Jen was going to make it to an eviction night cause she was too good at playing the veto games. Jen didn’t take the nomination/backdooring well, and all hell broke loose.

For whatever reason we don’t know (will be revealed today or Thursday), Danielle and Amber left the house for some sort of reward. It’s happened before, and last night they were both absent. Jen freaked out about her backdoor nomination, decided to take it out on Dick. She stole all his cigarettes (as if Dick is unpleasent enough without them) and then tore them all up and tossed them in a trash can. And to make sure he never used them, she pour bleach in the trash can to make the ciggys completely useless and unrecoverable.

To say that Dick flipped would be a complete understandment, as four letter words started to fall like raindrops. The Dick responds by taking all of Jen’s clothes and tossing them into the HOH room. Check it out:

A short while after that, Dick sits down to smoke and blows a cloud over Jen’s way and she freaks out because she is eating and from what I can tell she actually smacks Dick for it, and the feed cuts off. And incase you guys are wondering, Jen is on her 60 Slop diet as per her agreement during the POV from a few weeks ago, so why is she eating?

Just a small taste of what happens when the 24/7 feed gets cut off. After that incident, Jen is called to the Diary Room by BB. When she comes back out, she confirms that her actions and her ignorance of her eating food in defiance of her slop restriction has resulted in a penalty nomination, a first in Big Brother history. This means if she manages to stay this week, she is automatically nominated next week and is not allowed to complete for POV or get her nomination voted. This means she’s guarenteed to be in the hot seat two weeks in a row as penalty for what she’s been doing.

This is where things get interesting, as Dick is thinking that the nomination penalty creates a fine opportunity to evict Jameka. This way Jen still goes up on the block next week. While they’re talking about this, Jen is still eating stuff that is not slop. I guess since she’s already got a penalty, there’s not point to eat the slop and is just doing whatever she wants in defiance of Big Brother.

Jameka is very irritated, and for obvious reasons, the big one being that people may now be looking at evicting her instead of Jen. Since Jen is now a lame duck with the penalty nom, they might take her out instead and leave Jen to get evicted next week. Jameka is also upset cause she’s also on slop and Jen keeps eating whatever she wants. She keeps asking BB to do something or she’ll starting eating whatever she wants too. Since it now seems like she might be going home in 2 days, she might as well… especially since no one else is eating the slop.

Things seemed to have settled down since then, but I’m sure once the big wigs review the tapes, I think something else might happen. I think they should kick Jen out and make an example of her, cause if they don’t people will follow the rules and just fart around for years to come. Jameka is furious cause she thinks the others will use her penalty for next week as an excuse to show her the door. I have a feeling if something isn’t done, the next two days are going to get even worse. One of the biggest rules is you’re not allowed to hit someone, and Jen as you saw above attempted to smack Dick, so I’m surprised she hasn’t been kicked out yet. We’ll have to wait and see.

And all this happened while Danielle and Amber were out who knows where. I’m sure they’ll both get filled in when they get back, and there’s no telling how Danielle might react to Dick’s new plan. She wanted Jen out this week, not next. So that’s what’s happened… pretty fucked up, eh?
