I’m not kidding when I say this thing is huge… but it’s got some good questions. I love taking surveys that have good questions. Some are repeats, but that’s okay. So without any further delay!

A – Accidents

01. Have you ever been in a car accident?

Once, but it was nothing serious. I was very young and the fender was barely dented.

02. Do you have a lot of scars?

Two, one on my leg and another on my arm.

03. Have you ever been in a fist fight with someone?

More than I would like to admit…

04. Have you ever seriously hurt anyone by mistake?

No, usually when I hurt them it was with intent. I was a mean kid…

05. Have you ever had stitches? where?

I managed to avoid stiches, hence the scars.

B – Beauty

06. Do you consider yourself beautiful?

I think I’m a nice looking guy, but I’m not vain enough to to any further with my self praise.

07. Are you self-conscious about the way you look?

I am, but not completely obesessed or anything.

08. Do you put on a lot of make-up?

Ummmm…. no.

09. Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery?

Never. What you see is what you get… love it or leave it.

10. What do you think makes a person beautiful?

Personality, cause that goes a long way.

C – Consequences

11. What was the longest amount of time you’ve been grounded for?

Months, and I ain’t kidding. That was like solitary confinement.

12. What would you do if you got pregnant, keep it or have an abortion?

I’ll never have to deal with that issue personally, but I can only imagine women who have to deal with such a complex issue.

13. Do you ever think about how your actions affect other people?

I try to, but sometimes I forget.

14. What do you think is the worst punishment someone could give you?

Besides taking away my Open Diary… disconnecting my cable.

15. What is one thing you wish you didn’t do, just because it wasn’t worth it in the end?

That list is too long, but it’s one I’ll have to live with.

D – Dealing

16. When you are mad at someone, how do you show them?

If I get mad at someone, they’ll know it. I don’t bottle anything up and let people have it the minute I starte fuming.

17. Name a time when you had to be strong.

A few times when Leah’s Mom was close to death. Holding up the fort and working during those times were a little more stressful the usual.

18. Have you ever dealt with a divorce or parents fighting?

Parents/couples fight all the time. You wouldn’t bother to if you didn’t care about someone… so it doens’t bother me.

19. When people don’t accept you, or have problems with you, how do you react?

I don’t. It’s your loss…

20. Have you ever lost someone to death? explain how you got through it.

I’ve lost a few people… no one too major but a few.

E – Experience

21. Have you ever had a job? any volunteer jobs?

I’ve had a few good jobs. Baseball umpire, camp counsellor, stock auditor, teacher and call center agent. I did a lot of volunteer work when I was attending Univeristy too, and that was very rewarding.

22. Do you think that you are sexually experienced, or not at all?

I’m married, and believe it or now when you’re married you get a lot of practice. That practice has lead to the mastering of good technique. Just a shame I can’t show that technique off… but that’s life.

23. Have you gone through a lot emotionally, or has life been easy thus far?

I’ve been through a bit, but overall life has been good to me so far (knock on wood).

24. Do you think you are ready to be on your own (have your own home, job, etc.)?

I’ve been on my own for eleven years, so I think I’m doing all right.

25. How old do you act?

That depends on my mood…

F – Family

26. Is there anyone in your family you don’t talk to? why?

My little brother and I are very distant. The distance between us has hurt our relationship the most, and I’m sorry about that. Eventually I’m gonna have to have a good sit down with him and have a good long muti-hour powwow with him.

27. If you had to choose, family or friends?

I hate to choose, I have so many good ones on both sides.

28. Can you tell your parents or one of your parents anything?

I’m very open with my parents, but I think deep down they’re happy I’m not 100% open with them and vice versa.

29. Do you have any siblings? if so, do you ever get jealous of them?

I have two brothers, one two years older and one two years younger. I’m jealous of neither… I like what I have.

30. How often do you spend ‘quality time’ with family members?

A lot when it comes to my own family (wife and boys) but with my other family members not as much as I would like to. Distance has been a problem with that.

G – Growing

31. How tall are you? How tall do you wish you were?

I like my height. Not too tall, not too short. Just right…

32. Do you think that you have grown more in the past year than any year before that?

Emotionally, yes but I still have a lot of growing to do.

33. As a person, do you think you are mature for your age or still act childish?

Depends on my mood, I can go either way.

34. Are you scared to think that one day you will turn 30, then 40, then 50?

I am thirty, and no it doesn’t scare me. Time happens, you just accept it and enjoy the time you have.

35. Do you believe you still have a lot to learn?

You can never learn too much… so yes.

H – Hope

36. Love – real or not?

Definitely real.

37. Are you a pessimist or an optimist?

As always that depends on my current mood.

38. Do you believe in fate, that everything happens for a reason, or do you think that our actions lead the way?

I don’t like the concept of fate because I’m not confortable with the idea that I’m not in control of my life.

39. Do you think that after we die our spirit is still alive?

Not sure… but I’m sure we’ll all eventually find out.

40. What gives you hope when you just feel like dying?

Right now it’s my boys.

I- Issues

41. Do you suffer from depression or constant sadness/loneliness?

No. I get frustrated on occassion, maybe too often but that doesn’t mean I’m unhappy…

42. Do you have any type of disease or disability?

Nope, I’m healthy as an Ox.

43. Are you currently in a hard relationship or have bad luck with the opposite sex?

Marriage is always a hard relationship, but it’s worth it.

44. Do you think that you are alone in this world?

Nope, not at this moment. I have a family to hang out with. It’s hard to feel alone when you have a sweet little boy who’s always willing to sit down and watch Finding Nemo with me 24/7…

45. How often do you think about death, suicide or running away?

At the moment not at all, which is a lot less than what I used to.

J – Jokes

I have a good sarcasm that makes everyone laugh a lot… I’m always eager to crack a good joke or crude comment.

48. Do you cry when you laugh hard?

It does happen, and I like that cause it has to be a killer joke to cause that to happen.

49. Write down a hilarious moment you had with someone that makes you laugh to this day.

The first time I saw Spaceballs in theatres. We laughed so hard, I almost peed my pants. I’ve got to add that movie to my DVD collection…

I used to and I didn’t care then and I don’t now.

K – Knowledge

51. The purpose of school:

For some to attain knowledge, for others to get laid.

52. Do people refer to you as smart, dumb, or average?

That would depend on who you asked…

53. What was the highest grade you have recieved (full course mark)? and the lowest?

I’ve failed a few courses and aced a few of them with highest marks. It happens… build a bridge and get over it.

54. What was your last average?

Mid-seventies… but advanced grammar dragged that one down a lot.

55. What do you find the most interesting subject to study or to talk about?

I thought ethics was a great course… was really good for debating.

L – Love

56. Are you currently in love? if not, have you been before?

I am in love right now, and will be for a while. There are a lot of people I love out there, and it’s hard to think that there isn’t someone out there that I couldn’t love.

57. Do people around you show you a lot of love (tell you they love you, hug you, kiss you, etc)?

Yes, they do.

58. Is love worth it?

Definitely, it’s worth doing anything for.

59. Do you hate it when girls in their young teenage years say they ‘love’ someone that they’ve been dating for a few months?

Try a few days… very, very annoying. That’s not love, it’s lust.

It doesn’t take a lot… if I do I will say it.

M – money

61. Do you believe that money makes the world go round?

No… but it can buy a lot of stuff, and I love stuff!

62. Is your family on the poor side, average, or above average when it comes to money?

At the moment, we’re avarage, and that’s all right.

63. Are you saving up for college/university, or planning to?

I don’t have any savings put away, but I do have a fund for Ethan’s college. I guess I should start one for Jonathan too…

I already have the second, does that mean I’m not allowed to have the first?

65. On a scale of 1-10, how important is money to you?

I don’t want to sound unreasonable, but right now it’s an 8 cause I want to do well for my kids…

N – Naughty

Ummmm… no.

Ummmm… I personally don’t do that. Just not something I’d be comfortable with.

I know a few people I would consider a slut. Both male and female…

Nope, mistakes make us the people we are today.

I can be a bit of both sometimes…

O – Openness

71. How long does it take for you to open up to someone?

That depends on the person we’re talking about here. usually I trust my gut before making this kind of decision.

72. What does it take for you to fully trust someone?

I am capable of fully trusting someone, but that trust has to be earned.

73. Are you generally untrusting towards people because of past experiences, or any other reason?

I try not to punish people for the sins or actions of others, I try to give everyone a fair chance.

There’s no set time, it depends on the person.

75. When it comes to parents and close friends, what’s the limit of what you can tell them?

I can tell my parents and older brother anything and they’ve always been a good rock to lean on. I’m not that close with my little brother…

P – Positive

76. Have you ever had an experience with someone that didn’t necessarily end positively? if so, would you rather erase the memory of that person because of the sad times or keep the memory of that person because of the good times?

Nope, I’ll keep all my negative moments. Our mistakes and mishaps make us the person we are. Without them we wouldn’t be the same.

Why not, cause some love is better than none.

78. are you more optimistic or pessimistic? what do you try to be?

That depends on my mood, I’m on the fence and go usually go either way.

Somtimes…

I have, but it would take an entire entry to fill out. Out of all bad comes good, so I might dedicate a full entry to this.

Q – Questions

81. When faced with a problem, do you ask for help or try to figure it out yourself?

I like to try myself, but if stumped I’m not afraid to ask for help.

82. Do you often question the world and how we came about? what are some things you would like to know about creation?

I’m an atheist, I think the answer to our creation is too advanced for any of us to truly understand.

83. Do you think the government is truthful? if you could ask the president/prime minister one question, what would it be?

I’m not sure about the question… but I think my current government is not worthy of trust. I know for a fact that the one south of the border is the most corrupt in that nation’s history.

84. When someone does something wrong to you, do you confront them and ask them why they did it or just let it go?

That depends on the situation. Sometimes it’s good to confront someone and let them know what happened and how I feel about… and other times it’s best to ignore it cause a confrontation won’t make a difference.

85. What is one unsolved mystery about the world that you want answers to?

The assassination of JFK would be a good one. I have an idea based on what I’ve read but I’d love to know what happened for sure…

R – Respect

86. How do you show respect?

In may different ways, but it has to be earned… it’s never given.

87. What would someone have to do for you to lose all respect for them?

Ignorance is usually a quick way to lose it… being a Republican is another.

88. Do you respect your teachers, parents, and other authority figures?

I respect people for what they do, not who they are.

89. When you are disrespectful to your parents, what is the punishment?

Grounding for a night or a week, and a swift one.

90. If someone is mean to you, are you mean back or do you kill them with kindness?

I’m capable of doing both, it really depends on my mood and the situation.

S – Sex

Let’s just say I’ve done my bit… and have had my bit done.

It was a little disappointing, but interesting.

I think this question is too personal, I’ll pass.

Yes, No, and No.

T – Temptation

If I don’t think something is wrong… then I don’t care who does.

Yes, but the answer is no. I do drink socially, but I have never smoked and never will. Best way to quit is to never start.

98. did you ever cheat on someone?

No.

99. Did you ever want to do something sexual with someone you didn’t really know or love? what did you end up doing?

Yes, but I never did.

100. Do you give in to temptation easily, or are you more independent and strong willed?

I’m very strong willed. I’ve had a lot of temptations in my life and I’ve been strong enough to walk away from them all and some pretty big ones. Sometimes I look back at a few and wonder how the hell I managed to do that…

U – Unique

Sometimes I’m in the mood to do to both, depending on my mood.

Never. I only do things only when I want to.

Leah will testify that I don’t follow the trends. According to her I have horrid taste…

No, no, no and no.

105. What makes you different from people your age?

A lot of people my age are single and not married. It’s hard to find other couples our age to hang out with.

V – Value

106. what’s the most expensive thing in your room?

For Leah it’s her jewelry case and everything she’s got in it. For me it’s my P2.

107. What’s more valuable: your life or the lives of your loved ones? would you sacrifice your life for other people?

My loved ones are more important, I would trade my life for my boys and my wife’s without hesitation…

108. what is something you value not because it cost a lot, but because it means a lot to you?

My teddy bear. I’ve had it for over twenty-seven years now, and it was the last thing my Grandma gave me before she passed away.

109. If there was a fire in your house/apartment, what is the first thing you would grab?

My kids, the wife and if I had time I’d got back in for my Cat and computer harddrive.

I’m not sure… you never know what is right around the corner.

1. World Domination: the world clearly cannot take care of itself, and needs an iron fist to settle matters.

2. World Peace: but that will come once the revolt to wish #1 is crushed.

Myself, cause if I’m happy so will my loved ones.

Nope, we make our own luck.

I’ve had a few come true, but what I’ll keep to myself.

I don’t know, since I moved out of the province I’ve had zero contact with all of them.

I don’t mind being independent but can also be very social.

Ignorance, and the inability to see the truth when it’s looking you in the face.

I do… just need a little time and investment to reach that potential.

The same I am now, cause I didn’t use the guidence of others to get to where I am now.

I think they are, but people are also capable of being really mean too.

Z – Zest

I am. If you have my handsome boys, you would be too.

Sometimes I’m not good with change. I like routines and am very comfortable with them. When people toss a monkey wrench into them, I can get frustrated with them very easily.

Of course I do… but only when done in moderation.

To travel and see the rest of the world. I’ve done it a few times and can’t wait to do it with my boys.
