A rather mature survey

Tired of all of those surveys made up by high school kids?

‘Have you ever kissed someone?’

‘Missed someone?’

‘Told someone you loved them?’

‘Drank alcohol?’

I hate those surveys, so here’s one with some questions for the people who are a little more mature…

Peter

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?

I’m not very fond of the phone bill. Leah has a lot of relatives who are all over the damn place!

2. Where’s the best place to eat a romantic dinner?

I’m not sure about Hamilton just yet, but I’m working on that one. When on the Island there was a great place called ‘Classic Cafe’ and it was a great spot to enjoy a quiet and very enjoyable meal.

3. Last time you puked?

When I had the stomach flu last year when I was flying to Nashville. I had to be put on oxygen and spend half my vacation in bed while everyone else went out and had fun.

4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar?

That was a while back, when I was in college. Myself and a few nice ladies dance the Macarena on a bar on time way, way back when it was the in song… man was I wasted.

5. Name of your first grade teacher?

Mrs. Miller. An old bat that got on my nerves. I’m sure she’d say the same thing for me… as I think I pushed her into early retirement.

6. What do you really want to be doing right now?

Writing my book. It’s been hard to find the time…

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to be a cop, but that was a tad unrealistic given my temper.

8. How many colleges did you attend?

Only 1 University, and that was enough for me.

9. Why are you wearing the shirt you have on now?

Cause the center has a dress code, all shirts have to have collars.

10. GAS PRICES! First thought?

Thank goodness I take the bus…

11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you…

I wouldn’t go anywere without Leah and the Boys. I’m not sure about moving, but I would love to travel and see other places with them…

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?

I didn’t need an alarm. Ethan walked into the room and poked my chest with his sippy cup, giving me that ‘Yo bartender… I needs a refill’ kind of poke.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?

I need to buy a new pillow, this one sucks.

15. Favorite style of underwear for a mate?

none. 🙂

16. What errand/chore do you DISLIKE?

I’m not too fond of the cat litter, and neither is anyone else since I end up doing it all the time.

17. If you didn’t have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery?

Not sure, wouldn’t mind volunteering for another youth center.

18. Get up early or sleep in?

Love to sleep in, but it’s been a while… with the kids and all.

19. Who is your favorite cartoon character

I was always a fan of G.I. Joe, but now as a parent realize how violent and inappropreiate it is… Spiderman is pretty cool, though.

20. Favorite NON-sexual thing to do at night with a member of the opposite sex?

Hang out and talk about anything (movies, TV, politics, books) while eating chesse and crackers and other munchies.

21. A secret that you wouldn’t mind everyone knowing?

Normally if there was a secret like that, I usually have no problem revealing it here. Nothing new to reveal.

22. How many joints pop when you get out of bed in the morning?

Only one, my knee that I fractured wrestling in high school in 91.

23. What is the biggest amount of $$ you have made from a yard sale?

I had two really successful sales. The best yard sale I had was over $400 when I sold all my toys. I was only 12 years old and I didn’t want them anymore so I set up a table at the corner of my street. The money went to a good cause, my first Nintendo with a few kickass games!

The other best sale I had was when I sold my beanie babie collection. Leah and I were struggling and I promised her I would sell them when times got tough. I was a man of my word and for $18, I set up a table at the local flea market at the mall. Less than 50 minutes later, I had none left and over $800 in my pocket. Leah was amazed how fast they went and that stash paid the rent and the groceries and saved our asses. Pretty sweet, eh?

24. Your favorite lunchmeat?

Roast beef… and you can’t forget the horseradish!

25. What do you get every time you go into a 7-11?

Combos. They never sold them on the island and over the last month I’ve been buying them like they’re going out of style.

26. Beach or lake?

I was under the impression that lakes have beaches as well. But I prefer neither… I like pools.

It might be, but it’s still a lot of fun.

Abbey, my favorite Lesbian.

The Evil Dead trilogy. I can watch it over and over and over again and never get bored of it.

Not ashamed of what is in my film collection, just how small it is.

31. What’s your drink?

White Russians and Strongbow.

32. Cowboys or Indians?

Indians… scalping is fun! 🙂

33. Cops or Robbers?

I was always the robbers, but that’s all right I was a smart robber and was seldom caught.

34. Do you cheer for the bad guy?

Sometimes, depends on how stupid and naive the good guy is.

35. What Hollywood star do you think resembles you best?

A lot of people say John Candy, and that infuriates Leah but I think it’s a compliment. He was a jolly and very nice guy who could light up a room just by walking in.

36. If you had to pick one, which cast member of “Lost” would you be?

None, that show sucks.

37. What do you want when you are sick?

I moap and want to be waited on. I’m a high maintinence patient.

38. Who from high school would you like to run into?

I wouldn’t mind bumping into someone named Colleen Myers. I had a super huge crush on her when I was young.

40. What do you like to do on your days off?

I try to write, but have too much work to do at home. but I do enjoy hanging out with the boys…

41.Who’s your favorite Grey’s Anatomy character?

That show sucks too. For the record, the best medical drama on television right now is called House…

42. Norm or Cliff?

Definitely Norm, Cliff’s bullshit would get on my nerves too quickly.
<BR>

43. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons?

The Simpsons, cause Bill freaks me out just a smige.

44. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?

None. My mistakes make me who I am… to remove them would change everything.

I have a list of canidates, but I would never go through with it. I’m just too good to do something like that.

47. What famous person would you like to have dinner with, alive or dead?

I’m not too sure right now, but I would like to have my most loved and most hated people at the table, just so we could all sit down and talk things out. That would be a cool meal to sit down to…

49. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have with moderate success.

50. Last book you read for real?

A David Eddings novel that I ordered off Ebay. It was book one of four. I got half way through book #2 but lost interest.

None, don’t have a cell phone. Looking into that though.

At the moment, I’m not too sure. Careers are always a good thing to try… but I’m also always willing to meet new people.

Nope, not really fond of the practice either.

57. Pencil or pen?

I used to be a pencil person, but now prefer pens.

58. Bueller??? Bueller??? Bueller???

Love that movie. I remember watching it when it first hit theatres in 1985. We need more movie makers like Jim Hughes.

Did you know about Evil Dead: the musical? I saw it a month ago. Better news, it originated in Canada. Right now it’s still here in NYC, but you never know, it might fidn it’s way back home soon!

I got my hubby Ferris Bueller for xmas, cool survey

I saw your note on someone’s entry.. you seriously still feel a draft coming on?…

ryn: Yeah, Bush wants more troops in iraq. Too bad his own military commanders and most of the legislative branch are staunchly against any such move, much less an actual draft. We learned from Vietnam that a draft isn’t popular or effective. The idea is as dead as issues go.

Cool survey. But seriously, how can you not like LOST? It’s amazing. Dodger stadium is not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s not the safest place to be, either. I love the Dodgers, though, but I wish they in a better area, like the Angels in Anaheim- that’s a really nice stadium.
