9 Years and still going strong.

I haven’t posted anything in the last while cause there was really nothing to update on. No calls back from agents or prospective jobs. I’ll have to keep waiting to see what happens but if I don’t hear from anyone by Friday, I’ll have to call someone back for an update.

One thing I should report is that Leah and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary last night. We’re one year away from a decade of wedding bliss. Hard to believe that it’s been that long since we got hitched, but we have the moves, degrees and kids to prove it. It’s been an interesting decade, but we got one more year before we reach that mark. Should be interesting to see what happens in that last 12 months before the big celebration comes. Leah actually wants to go on a cruise for the big occassion, and as much as I would love to do that… finances will have to improve before we can do something like that. Hopefully I’ll have sold my book by then, that’s the only way I see that happening.

We did get each other some small gifts for the occassion, as Leah got a purse that had wanted for a while, and I got tickets to next week’s big labor day football game. It’s a Canadian Football League tradition for the labour day game to take place in Hamilton between the Cats and the Toronto Argos. We got some sweet seats and this will be fun cause Leah has never been to any kind of football game before so this will be fun to watch. They’re decent seats too so it will make for a fun labor day.
