Aside from having bronchitis
things have been going great! The bronchitis thing has been kicking my butt for a week now and I am tired of it though. My lungs sound like they are constantly growling and feel like an ocean with the tide going in and out. Makes it hard to sleep and while I don’t feel sick, I do feel exhausted. *sigh*
The refinancing went through and we should be closing in 2 weeks. The worry for me was that we are in a subprime mortgage right now which we went into with our eyes wide open, but it was a strategic move for us. We needed to keep from losing the house. With all the problems right now though involving these mortgages and the fact that the credit union took SIX WEEKS to do what they normally do in ONE got my nerves on edge! It’s all set now though and we are looking forward to a reduction in our mortgage payment of about $450 a month! Wowee!
My application to substitute teach is all finished up now also and will be mailed out tomorrow. Phew! It got done pretty quickly actually for the amount of stuff they wanted so not really so bad. But a little running around for this reference and that verification and this thing notarized etc. The woman I am substituting for got the call she was waiting for and even sent out a picture of the baby she is adopting. She will be leaving in about 5 weeks so I am working through Christmas I guess. For her anyway. I have lots of other teachers already asking if I will continue to substitute after this job is done.
And just for the cherry on the cake, Dennis made sure guidance gave me my own appointed time to talk to the representative from the college I want to go to when they come in to recruit next week!
Not much else to tell as far as news goes…at least not any I can think of. I bet I could think better if I weren’t so exhausted! Maybe it’s time for another sitting up nap! I don’t know about you, but I sure don’t get too rested sitting upright! It’s better than feeling like I’m drowning in this bronchitis crap though. *another sigh*
Wow – can’t the doctor “fix” this bronchitis? A week of poor sleep would destroy me, too. BTW – congratulations on the substitute position. It’s great because if you get a tough bunch, you only need to stay temporarily. On the other side, what if you love them? But what a great opportunity to work with (near?) your hubby!

Congrats on all of the great news. You’re going to be busy : > ) Sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope you’ve gone to the Dr. for the bronchitis. I use to get Asthmatic Bronchitis every Fall as a child, not fun. I know exactly what you’re going thru. After awhile I use to forget what it felt like to feel good. Have you been steaming? Fill the sink with hot water, put a towel over your head and breath the steam in. It feels good and soothes the soreness. Take care and get well soon. “Hugs”
