Still Mundane
Work was work today. I didn’t do much. I was just grateful that Ernie is still on vacation and his presence won’t ruin another week for me. The sad thing is that he will likely return next week and I’ll have to revert to my escaping the office before 7am, as I have been accustomed to doing for the past few weeks.
I worked again this past weekend, as I seemingly do every weekend. The heat at my desk doesn’t seem to be improving any, though it’s not getting any better either. Again, the high at my cubicle today reached 82 degrees. Apparently, my complaints have done nothing to remedy this situation. I sincerely hope that they don’t think that I’m somehow making this up. It is hot at my desk. Feel it for yourself. Rest assured, I have no reason to make this up. The thermometer doesn’t lie.
Jay and I returned to playing Call of Duty again. We didn’t care much for last year’s Modern Warfare III and we didn’t bother playing it together. This year, we’re doing Black Ops 6, which is playable and we’re decent enough to where we feel that we are competitive. If we were terrible at it, then we’d be stuck. But as it stands, we’re enjoying ourselves.
I thought I had more to write, but it would appear that I don’t.
This is proof that my day and weekend were relatively uneventful.
I still lead a pretty mundane life apparently.
