Snow White, Helmet Red

Sometimes I will cheer on failure.  I root for it on occasion, especially when those who fail are making no effort to improve or correct themselves.  This was probably why I used to love watching that show “Cops”, before it seemingly overnight became terrible television and somehow the presence and mere existence of law enforcement was frowned upon.  I enjoy watching failure, especially when it happens to be televised.

Now, this isn’t necessarily television, but I typically will not spend good money to watch an awful movie while it’s playing in movie theaters.  I’ll buy and play a bad video game any day, but for some reason, I draw the line at watching a bad movie.  I don’t know if it’s the time commitment that goes into watching a movie.  Maybe it’s the price of movie tickets today?  Perhaps I wouldn’t want to pay for an expensive movie ticket, dislike the movie minutes into it, and then make the painstaking decision to just walk out of the theater.  That’s time lost.  That’s money lost.  Depending on how bad the movie it, it could also be sanity lost.

I can’t explain it.  I never said that my train of thought made sense.  I just do what I do and I rarely question it.

So, I was never going to watch this movie, not even if gifted a ticket to go see it, but I find it unusually satisfying to see Snow White doing as poorly as it is.  This movie is never going to make it’s money back and I think it’s a damn shame that Disney even went through with releasing it and probably expecting it to make any kind of profit.  Then again, they filmed it.  They even did some reshoots.  They paid those who acted in the movie, excluding those dwarves, of course.  Then again, they paid who knows how much for those CGI dwarves to be made, animated, and thrust into the movie.  I guess with everything that went into this movie, Disney had no choice.  Sure, they delayed the movie’s release, but the end result was always going to be the same.

It is an utter failure and it was always going to be.

Rachel Zeiler is a complete moron.  Now, truth be told, I was never a huge fan of the 1937 original animated Snow White.  Even though it was made well before my time, I just never cared for it.  When it was first announced that a live-action version of this movie was in the works, I still didn’t care and I knew that I was never going to be in line to buy a ticket and watch this movie.  Having said that, was I ever surprised that Disney would again decide to race swap the main character, Snow White?

Of course not.

Zegler is Latina (well, half anyway).  Snow White is not and never was supposed to be Latina, but Disney casted Zegler for the part of Snow White anyway.  I don’t know about the rest of the world, but for me, that’s when the failure first started.

Then Zegler wanted to say all kinds of dumb stuff about the original animated Snow White, the original story, and how the live-action version in which she would be starring would essentially stray from the original story line.  Because of all the stupidity that she has brought to herself and this movie, she is about as close to being public enemy Number 1 as she can possibly be, maybe for Disney fans, as well as fans of the original animated Snow White.  For someone like me who absolutely despises Disney, I’m enjoying watching this shit show.  This whole situation seems to get dumber and dumber with every passing day.  This, to me, is far more entertaining than the actual Snow White movie itself.

Not that I knew who she was before this Snow White debacle, but now that I know who she is and how dumb she is, there is likely no way in hell that I would watch any movie or television show Zegler might be in.  Why would I subject myself to her in any capacity?

As for the picture above, well, I find that sort of thing to be quite hilarious and I had to include it as part of this entry.  Now, I don’t know who to give credit for creating that picture, but know that I am not claiming any credit for making it.  I’m good, but I’m not that good.  I do my damage with words, not with memes.

The original animated Snow White was a classic.  That picture above of Rachel Zegler is also a classic.

The 2025 live-action version of Snow White?

Hardly.
