Grabbing The Keyboard – Hardly Funny
It would appear that NBC has a headache on their hands with “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and the supposed lousy work environment that this show brings with it. Truth be told, I don’t watch the show, not so much because it comes on well past my bedtime, but more because Jimmy Fallon is not funny. As far as I’m concerned, he’s never been funny. The fact that he hosts The Tonight Show does little to entice me to stay up and tune in. I’m not following the story closely. I just happened to stumble upon it as I was goofing around YouTube. From what I understand, many of the staff who work on the show have had issues with the work atmosphere. I guess Fallon may have presented himself on set while under the influence of alcohol. I don’t know if he’s a drunk. What I do know is that alcohol or not, he’s still not that funny. Fallon had also reportedly displayed what was described as “prima donna behavior”. I don’t have any examples of what this kind of behavior looked like, but I can’t imagine that it’s very flattering. From what I saw, the work conditions were so bad that some staffers had even considered committing suicide. I’m genuinely hoping that no one actually went that far as to end their life because of a shitty workplace. You can always quit or just leave a terrible job. It’s a little tougher to come back from suicide.
It’s a damn shame that there is a show called “Love After Lockup”. I assume that people watch it too because I think there are multiple seasons of this show. If there wasn’t any interest in such a show, no one would watch it and there wouldn’t be a need to keep making seasons of it. I’m not watching this nonsense. I can only wonder how bad my life would have needed to go, for me to consider finding that special someone while they are still incarcerated. I know that some people like to befriend inmates and keep in contact with them as pen pals. I’d be squeamish to even do that. I would rather not involve myself with someone, at least in a romantic capacity, who has done time or someone who is actively doing time as I am interacting with them. I have a hard enough time trusting people as it is. Knowing myself, I don’t know if I could even become involved in a relationship with a woman (even if she happened to be hot as hell) who has an extensive criminal record, being that I don’t think I could ever trust her.
Apparently, exercising is fatphobic. The fact that “fatphobic” is a word and a thing is disheartening. I don’t buy into that shit. Be happy in whatever body you’re in. Just be ready to be ridiculed if someone doesn’t accept that you’re fat.
For the first time in months, I am actually getting hyped up for a video game release. On 09/19/23, Mortal Kombat 1 will be releasing. I’m not a huge Mortal Kombat fan. It’s just been a while since I’ve looked forward to a game release. Normally, this is the time of year where Madden NFL Football is a huge release, but since that series has been terrible for nearly a decade, it’s nothing to get excited over anymore. I know we have the next installment of Call of Duty releasing in the next few weeks, but I don’t know if I’ll be partaking in the series’ next game. I’m just getting over Call of Duty as a series. I’m burned out on it, I guess. I would have loved to have seen a Titanfall 3, but that’s likely never going to happen.
